If you own Lenovo K4 Note, then here is some good news for you. Lenovo has started to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update in India for K4 Note smartphone. As usual with any OTA update roll-out, the OTA should be reaching everyone sooner or later.
If you remember, K4 Note was launched in January with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and it’s pretty fast to get a major upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in just 4 months after launch.
The OTA update file is 1664 MB in size and hence before downloading make sure that you are on a WiFi connection and not using your cellular data. The update will upgrade the K4 note to Marshmallow. Apart from this, the update also brings optimization to logic of SD card and during upgrade your data from SD card may get lost. So make sure you back up your SD card before applying the OTA update. This update will also result in your fingerprints being erased and you need to register your fingerprints once again.
