Intex has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The phone is called the Aqua Lions 3G, and is based on the Gujarat Lions IPL cricket team, which the company owns.
The phone sports a 5-inch 720p HD Display, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop which supports gesture controls, flip to mute, smart wake and emergency rescue. The phone comes with a lot of pre-loaded apps including the Gujarat Lions Official App for live updates on IPL, Matrabhasha service that will enable communication in 21 regional languages, and more.
The Aqua Lions 3G is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor (likely a MediaTek chipset), with 1GB of RAM. The phone has 8GB of internal storage and supports upto 32GB.
The phone features a 5 megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is packed with a massive 3500 mAh battery but still weighs just 172g and measures at 145 x 71.5 x 9.5 mm. The device supports 3G and 2G networks.
The Intex Aqua Lions 3G has been priced at Rs. 4990 in India, and will be available in three colours: White, Grey and Champagne.
