Apart from Zenfone 3 Zoom Asus has announced the Zenfone AR smartphone at CES 2017 event which got leaked few days back and is the first smartphone from the company that comes with Tango (augmented reality (AR) platform ) and Google’s Daydream support, while Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the first tango enabled smartphone launched few months back. Asus Zenfone AR also becomes the first smartphone ever to come with a massive 8 GB of RAM.
Zenfone AR sports a 5.7 inch Quad HD 2K Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor & Adreno 530 GPU along with massive 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system with Asus ZenUI on top of it. In terms of camera, it comes with TriCam system, a three-camera system consisting of a 23 MP main camera, motion-tracking camera, and depth-sensing camera. On the front, it has a 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 3300 mAh battery along with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
